Wow, it never ends either! My 20 year old who is has very HFA has a very self limited diet.
His diet consists of McDonalds double cheeseburger, cheeseburger hamburger helper, Dijorno Pepperoni Pizza (no other brand), Ruffles with Dean's French onion dip, garlic bread, lays potato chips and watermelon.
There really is nothing that has worked to get him to eat healthier or add other things to his diet. He is 6'7 and a bean pole. He used to eat other things but as they "hurt his stomach" then he's done with that food forever.
When I tried to put my foot down when this started (when he was 8) he lost 15 pounds in one month because as we all know you'll most always lose if you try to get into a power struggle with someone on the spectrum. To this day I try my hardest to get him to eat differently but I have many other things that I focus on. This is a losing battle.

To all parents with autistic children, please take into serious consideration the calming and hunger stimulating effects of medical marijuana. There are numerous cases all over the world of parents trying every method and medicine known to man, spending thousands on modern high tech medications and treatments, only to resort to medical marijuana as a very last option, and upon administering it witnessing instantaneous improvement in appetite, behavior, awareness, and response. Look at a few of these cases and judge for yourself, marijuana is not only harmless, but extremely beneficial to autistic children.

I have read the link of Desiree Rover, and i really like the content.
The link is very much helpful for parents having children with autism.

For those who have just got to know about this mental disorder, can refer:

Understanding the relation between food and any disorder is very necessary.
As your post says, experts also advises for improving the diet of those children who are facing any kind of mental disorder.

Thanks for the details.

Why don't you take a look on the website of Dr. Rebecca Carley. http://www.reversingvaccineinduceddiseases.com
She healed her own son after he had been brain damaged by vaccines.
And so later on she developed a protocol for reversing vaccine induced diseases, including autism. Call her, and ask her about it. You do not need to travel to where she is, it all can be done by phone.
