Ocean-current model doesn’t hold water?
DUKE (US)—The familiar model of Atlantic ocean currents that shows a discrete “conveyor belt” of deep, cold water flowing southward from the Labrador Sea is probably all wet based on data collected by undersea sensors. The findings could affect efforts to forecast global warming. (more…)
