		<description>From my experience, there were more female science students in my undergraduate and graduate biochemistry / biotechnology programs than males.  There are also more female employees in my pharmaceutical company than males.  For engineering, and maths, and possibly chemistry the trend is definitely more males than females.  I don&#039;t agree that it is so for biological sciences.</description>

		<description>It&#039;s unfortunate that the field of science has a masculine connotation attached to it. I hope women who are attracted to science don&#039;t allow that to be a barrier in pursuing their dream.</description>
