I have learned a lot about World War II from Call of Duty and other war games. I have done a lot of research and the interest I originally had playing video games, turned into an expert topic for me. The reason they say it makes you violent is because they know that people from prison sometimes played them when they were younger, BUT NOT EVERYONE WHO PLAYS THEM BECOMES VIOLENT, I'm not, my friends aren't.

Rezkid, when you speak to people you need to speak their language. We are not a bunch of illiterate teenagers hanging around Yahoo Answers here. Maybe someone will help you if you speak your age.

Aaron - you might try the Discover Babylon game from the Federation of American Scientists. http://www.fas.org/programs/ltp/games/index.html "The game incorporates artifacts found in the Walters Art Gallery in Baltimore and ancient texts in the on-line data-sets of the Cuneiform Digital Library Initiative. Players interact with fictional characters and real objects from three different eras in history and the present day in order to solve a series of challenges. In the process they absorb historical information and became more familiar with museum and library resources"
OR
Unsolved mysteries at http://canadianmysteries.ca/en/index.php put out by the University of Victoria, the Université de Sherbrooke and the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education at the University of Toronto - "a series of instructional websites based on the premise that students can be drawn into Canadian history and archival research through the enticement of solving historical cold crimes. All the material is provided free as a public service"
