We are experimenting with hydroponics. I have noticed in time lapse photos from low power microscope similar tendencies with root growth in different supporting growth media.

I am curious about the comment "twisted buckling mechanism improves the fitness of the plant ". What have you noticed about the fitness of the plant? How is the plant growth different? And how does this correlate to different soil structural conditions?

Thank you,
Dr. Gordon Snyder
