		<description>It&#039;s extremely upsetting to know that US hospitals kill at least 44,000 patients a year when they could have been prevented by speaking up. I deeply agree with the fact that nurses can work in a safer environment if they feel comfortable speaking up about the errors they feel are being made. In fact I feel that a bi weekly discussion should be held to discuss this topic. Even if it&#039;s just 20 minutes every two weeks the increased awareness would hopefully save many lives. If nurses have to be given a positive incentive to feel more comfortable speaking about an error they feel has been made than that may be a good idea as well. Their supervisors have to instill confidence and comfort so that nurses feel like they are doing the right thing by speaking up rather than feeling they would be penalized for it.</description>
