		<description>There is not really anything called als that is killing people. What is called als is just a result of things going on in people&#039;s lives.

What that means is that by making adjustments to what is going on in their lives people experiencing the degeneration called als can solve the problem and heal.</description>

		<description>ALS is not always fatal within 5 years.  10% live 10 or more years.  With good care, some patients can live indefinitely with ALS by means of tracheostomy ventilation.</description>
