What if it's related to other activities as well, like taking drugs, alcohol, tobacco to cover up a mood disorder? What about the murder-suicides that show up periodically? Just regular depression itself is a big business cost in reduced productivity. If there's a cure for this parasite, crime rates could go down and the national GDP could go up. It deserves attention.
